"Music On The Barge" Completed for the 2013

Another successful season of “Music on the Barge” wrapped up on Sunday, August 18th with the annual performance of The Good Brothers, who entertained a capacity crowd at Gull Lake Rotary Park, Gravenhurst.

This season consisted of nine successful concerts without a rain-out despite a couple of iffy evenings prior to the concert starting time.  The weather certainly cooperated this past season.

A great vote of thanks go out to all the volunteers who help weekly with the operation of the concerts including the technical crew, collection takers, merchandise seller, collection counters, and the media and our “Barge” blogger.

Also thanks to The Town of Gravenhurst for their continued support the “Music on the Barge” concert series, the season sponsors, The Friends of the “Barge”, the individual donors and the Royal Canadian Legion – Gravenhurst Branch 302 and the Muskoka Thunder Motorcycle Riders for their generous donations to the “Barge”.

And to the audiences, thank you for coming out to support the “Music on the Barge” concerts.  Without your support, we’d be unable to carry on this fine tradition of Sunday night concerts in Gull Lake Rotary Park, Gravenhurst.

“Would you like to hear a little more?”   Let’s do it again next season!

Fred J. Schulz

Producer – Music on the Barge

Eddy and The Stingrays : 50's Rock and Roll

Dreamweaver CS3"Right from the beginning, our emphasis has been on the entertainment side of things, to go along with solid musicianship…to be visually authentic, and capture the mood and memories that are the 50's and 60's...this is the real deal, four guys who live, breath, eat and sleep showmanship, playing non-stop hits from the 50's and 60's that fill the dance floor, while at the same time creating a tongue-in-cheek, poke-fun-at-themselves world that is ...Eddy and the Stingrays"
